New Director appointed for London Citizens Advice
Daniel Blake, has started a new role as Director of London Citizens Advice. He took up the post at the end of June
London Citizens Advice are delighted to share that Daniel has started in the new role of Director of London Citizens Advice, to lead the London consortium in its next stage of development. Daniel was Chief Executive of Citizens Advice Haringey since 2019, and has worked in senior role in other charities, notably Shelter. Commenting on his appointment, Daniel has said:-
"I am delighted to have been appointed as the Director of the London Consortium at such an exciting time for the network. After seven years at Citizens Advice Haringey, I have a strong idea of how London can support local Citizens Advice organisations to build on the existing brand and continue to support London's population to get the advice, support and knowledge they need.
The cost-of-living crisis continues to impact on the lives of Londoners through rising housing costs, high energy and utility costs combined with low and stagnating wages. Working with partners I am determined to tackle this and to support the many and diverse communities across the capital to live a healthy and prosperous life."
