Cost of living - City Hall event with London Mayor and Martin Lewis
London Citizens Advice were pleased to be able to take part in a high profile discussion event involving conversation between London Mayor Sadiq Khan and Martin Lewis about cost of living challenges and solutions for Londoners.
The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan and MoneySavingExpert Martin Lewis CBE joined forces for a one-off live event at City Hall on February 2nd, to help Londoners tackle the cost of living crisis.
The event discussed everything from managing soaring energy costs, tips to ease household expenses to looking after our mental health during these difficult financial times, and an exhibition of support organisations including London Citizens Advice, and partnerships Debt Free London and Energy Advice London. The GLA recognised the support provided by the London Citizens Advice network, Deputy Mayor for Communities and Social Justice, Dr Debbie Weekes-Bernard (pictured at our stall below) hosted the event.
