Remembering Jacqueline Carr

Colleagues across London Citizens Advice pay tribute to the late Jacqueline Carr - former Chief Officer of Citizens Advice Brent.

Colleagues received the sad news of the passing of Jacqueline Carr. Jacqueline served Citizens Advice Brent for 38 years, 18 of which she spent as CEO. She left an indelible mark on the Citizens Advice service and the communities that we serve. Jacqueline also served as Trustee of Sufra NW London foodbank charity, had been a non-executive Director of Brent Primary Care Trust, and was a leading figure in Brent's civil society - contributing to many initiatives including as a commissioner for the Brent Poverty Commission. Her funeral was attended by over 100 people including the local MP and local civic leaders.

When I started as CEO of Citizens Advice Sutton, Jacqueline was someone who gave me helpful advice and support. She was such a supportive colleague.
