Family Hubs Advice - a holistic service model

Minister and the Deputy Mayor of London visit a Family Hub in Brent.

Many local Citizens Advice in London work closely with the Family Hubs and Childrens' Centres in the Boroughs. In Brent for example there are 9 Family hubs, and our advice services deliver pre-booked advice appointments on site.

On 20th May, a visit was hosted at the Brent Family Hubs for Alison McGovern, Minister of State in the Department of Work and Pensions, and the Deputy Mayor of London Debbie Weekes-Bernard.

Raj Kapoor, Chief Officer of Citizens Advice Brent said

"It is great to have the opportunity to showcase the work that Brent Citizens Advice do with Family Hubs in the borough, working in close collaboration with other services. Working in family hubs is an excellent way to make our services more accessible for families, and ensure that their needs are met."
